Brunel University London has a long history dating back to 1798. Taking on several names over the centuries, the institution was renamed in 1966 after the 19th-century British engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In the spirit of its namesake, Brunel has earned an excellent reputation through its rigorous academic standards as well as taking a practical, entrepreneurial, and imaginative approach across disciplines.
