Placement experience throughout the course means you will gain relevant experience in real sports therapy settings from observation of clinicians to managing a caseload
This course is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists meaning that on successful completion of this course you will be eligible to apply for membership with them
We have strong links with sports injury clinics, sports clubs and some of the biggest names in the sports industry to inform our teaching and provide placement opportunities. Within 15 months of completing the course, 85% of graduates are in employment or further study.
Blending theoretical and practical elements – you'll learn how to assess and manage sports injuries, and provide specialist advice and treatments like sport and remedial massage and musculoskeletal interventions

Entry requirements

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: 120 - 136 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A - levels or equivalent including 40 points in a required subject. BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM. For more information check out our full entry requirements.

Required subjects: Biology, Human Biology, Applied Human Biology, Applied Science, Health Science, Health & Social Care, Physical Education, Sport, Sport and Exercise Science , Other sport-related subject.

Please see below some examples of the qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2024 and September 2025 entry:

Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80%, or Gaokao 71-76%. Grade depends on the course
France: Baccalaureate with 12.5–13 overall or 11.5-12 (international option)
Hong Kong HKDSE Diploma (4,4,4 – 4,4,5 from three subjects). Grade depends on the course
All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 70-75%
Spain Titulo de Bachillerato with 7 to 7.5. Grade depends on course
Turkey Devlet Lise Diplomasi/Lise Bitirme Diplomasi 3.5/5.0 or 70% to 4.0/5.0 or 80%

If English is not your first language, you will need: IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component or equivalent.
