About Marine Operations Scottish Professional Diploma, Diploma - at City of Glasgow College

Prior to commencing this course students should have completed Phase 1 of the Scottish Professional Diploma.

This course is for students with higher level entry qualifications. It is the Scottish equivalent to the Foundation Degree. The course consists of two elements.

The HND Nautical Science. This is delivered during the first and second college phases and covers all the units for the SQA Group Award at Level 8.

Professional Development Award in Marine Operations. This is a management award at SCQF Level . It gives students the opportunity to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills.
