About Ergonomics and Human Factors - Specialist Pathway, Postgraduate Diploma - at University of Derby Online Learning

This online Ergonomics Postgraduate Diploma course is the second stage of our popular and well-established Masters programme which was the first online MSc Ergonomics degree to be launched in Europe.

At this stage we offer you the flexibility to gain a named award of your choice in one of three specialist pathways:

Postgraduate Diploma Ergonomics (Human Factors)
Postgraduate Diploma Health Ergonomics
Postgraduate Diploma Ergonomics & Organisational Behaviour.

To complete the Postgraduate Diploma, you will need to have first successfully completed the Postgraduate Certificate level so that you can continue with a further three 20 credit modules.

For the full MSc, you would then need to complete the Independent Study which not only gives you a Masters degree, but means you are then eligible for Graduate Membership with CIEHF.

Entry requirements

You'll need a UK undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline. If you have key practical experience and work based training, you may also apply.

International students require equivalent qualifications and may be asked to supply references to support your application.

If English is not your first language you will need an English language qualification. For this course you will need at least one of the following:

IELTS 6.5
TOEFL 550 (paper based) 213 (computer based) or 80 (internet based)
Pearson Test of Academic English: 51
Cambridge Advanced Certificate: Pass
London Tests of English: we accept level 5 for postgraduate courses
International GCE O Level English Language: Grade C
International GCSE English/English as a Second Language: Grade C.
