Our blended learning approach has been designed to meet the needs of students who are studying whilst working. It guarantees maximum flexibility in time management: each student decides when, where and how to learn. The only fixed dates are one examination date per module, with 13 modules to complete over four semesters, and a fifth semester focused on a Master’s thesis.
Blended learning combines self-study, live lectures, interactive group work and optional on-campus time in Berlin, Germany. Students study all modules online – only the oral Master’s examination has to be taken in Berlin, face-to-face with the board of examiners. In the second and fourth semesters we offer our students the opportunity to attend 2 weeks of classes on campus to deepen their technological know-how.
€19,800 (examination fees per semester are included), payable in 5 instalments of €3,960 each.
One of the admission requirements is a first university degree that is equivalent to a workload of 6,300 60-minute-hours, i.e. 210 Credits according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). For applicants with less than 210 credits, the study programme director will determine additional modules that the student has to complete successfully before being allowed to submit a Master’s thesis for examination. Another option might be the recognition of previous professional experience.
Another admission requirement is a very good command of English. As proof we accept qualifications based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Independent User B2) such as the TOEFL or IELTS. In addition to this, native language or official language in the home country are accepted. Students may hand in their application before completing the necessary language test. Certificates of successfully completed language tests should be submitted by 15th September in the year of application at the latest.
As a rule, students need at least 1-2 years of practical professional experience in any field, after having completed their first academic degree.
