The MSc Accounting and Financial Strategy degree is designed for professionals working in the business and finance sector. Successful completion of the course will support your development in a business finance career, in particular strategic accounting, in UK public and private sector businesses or international organisations.
You will develop your understanding of the principles and practice of financial strategy and accounting, the context in which they operate and how they are managed. You will learn the applied skills involved in financial reporting and strategic planning, as well as wider management issues such as corporate and social responsibility, risk management and e-business strategies and models.
The course includes teaching on research methods and study skills that will support your learning by providing an understanding of a range of research tools and analytical techniques, as well as enhancing critical and investigative skills which can be applied in your professional practice.
