The locals are supportive and passionate about Cornwall. If you show your passion, they can be quite nice to you. At the Penryn Campus, you combine learning in a space of outstanding beauty with opportunities you wouldn’t get at other universities such as sailing and surfing. It is a match made in heaven. It attracts a lot of climate positive, nature focused and outdoorsy people. Growing up in South Manchester, I never really felt like I fitted in. In Cornwall I have found like-minded students from every walk of life that are passionate about the same things.
